IEP Improvement Plan
New IEP in Massachusetts for SY24-25
What to Know About the NEW IEP Form
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has recently revised the Individualized Education Program (IEP) form to enhance the IEP process and enhance the educational outcomes for students with disabilities in the Commonwealth. The IEP Improvement Project aims to offer schools, districts, and families not only updated forms but also opportunities to collaborate in creating better systems to support students with disabilities more effectively. The Department encourages IEP Teams to collaboratively determine personalized instruction, services, and support for each student with a disability.
It is expected that the Hopkinton School District will roll out the new IEP form prior to the 2024-2025 school year.
