TOP Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and placement program for young athletes with disabilities. TOPSoccer athletes (open to children in grades K-12) are grouped by ability, not age. Michael Lisnow Respite Center Entering our 20th year, The Michael Lisnow Respite Center is a place that provides emotional and physical support for individuals with disabilities and their families. Located in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, the Center serves hundreds of families. We can not do this without the generous support of many, and the inspiration given to us by the life and memory of Michael Carter Lisnow. We ask that you take a moment to read Michael's story, view our efforts through images in our photo gallery, and learn about the programs we have available. We believe that the true legacy of Michael is not just the house itself, but it is the wisdom he continues to inspire in us and the strength to help change lives. http://www.hopkintonrespite.com/
The Whole Child, Inc. The Whole Child, Inc., Developmental Resources & Family Empowerment, is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization designed to be a community resource for children ages 3-18 and their families. Our mission is to support the healthy (physical, social, behavioral and cognitive) development of children and to empower their families through education, coaching, opportunity and advocacy. We work to achieve this by promoting an understanding of child development, educating and empowering parents so as to be effective advocates for their children, and providing high quality services designed to target developmental goals for children in multiple domains. Our services support children who present as neuro-typical, as well as children with overtly uneven cognitive profiles. We involve parents in the learning process through service observations, parent-ups and consults. We will support children with learning difficulties, organizational struggles, emotional needs, sensory and/or regulation difficulties, social skill deficits, ADHD, high functioning ASD, just to name a few. We are dedicated to helping families every way we can, including custom designing programs or services to meet the individual needs of specific children, and teaching strategies for dealing with or overcoming life-affecting difficulties. Everything we do is goal directed. Children may only participate in a The Whole Child, Inc. program if the parent has at least had an initial intake with our program director and established preliminary goals. This is the only way we can ensure that our programs are goal directed and designed to provide the social opportunity to target the objectives intended. www.thewholechildmatters.org
