NAVIGATOR SCHOLARSHIP for SENIORS, deadline for application 4/28
Please see posting in Naviance describing the guidelines and application process. 7pm @ HHS Library Jonathan Smith from the Federation of Children with Special Needs will host a Basic Rights in Special Education Workshop on Tuesday, April 3rd, 7-9 pm, at the Hopkinton High School Library. Everyone welcome. Free and open to the public. Co-sponsored by SEPAC. This workshop will provide a basic understanding of the complex special education laws and procedures. Please join us! Feeling isolated in your quest for a sound education for your child on an IEP or 504? Have questions about other parents’ experiences navigating the school system? Do you need the ear of someone who has been through this maze too? Please join us for an informal and supportive group discussion for Parents of Children with Learning Differences or Special Needs. We will meet in the new conference room of the Hopkinton Public Library at 6.
Wherever you are in your journey through special education and however you feel about it (delighted or not), please join us for our SEPAC meeting on Tuesday, 3/27, at 7 pm. Literacy specialists will be present to answer ELA questions. ACCEPT transportation representatives will be there to field parents’ inquiries and concerns. And we will have an OPEN discussion.
